About this event
Vibehub Social's Strangers' Trip is back, and this time we're heading to the desert. Come solo or bring a friend. Either way, you'll leave with a crew.
We leave Ahmedabad on Thursday night and wake up in Jaisalmer, the Golden City. For two days it's camel rides at sunset, a jeep safari over the dunes, folk music and a fire show, Rajasthani dinners and bonfire nights under the stars. In between, we explore Sonar Qila (a fort people still live in), the carved havelis and the abandoned village of Kuldhara.

Itinerary in brief
- Fri 29 Oct: 9 PM departure from Ahmedabad. Overnight road trip.
- Sat 30 Oct: Morning at Gadisar Lake → camp check-in with a traditional welcome → camel safari and sunset → hi-tea, folk night and fire show → dinner, DJ and bonfire.
- Sun 31 Oct: Breakfast → Sonar Qila and the Jain temples → Patwon ki Haveli → lunch in the old city (on your own) → Kuldhara → jeep safari and sunset → Strangers' Night, dinner and stargazing.
- Mon 1 Nov: Sunrise on the dunes → breakfast and check-out → Bada Bagh and a souvenir stop → road trip home. Arrive in Ahmedabad late night.
Rules & Guidelines
Age 18–35 only. Carry a valid government photo ID. Without it, you can't board or check in.
Be on time. Report at the pickup point by 8:30 PM. The bus leaves at 9:00 PM sharp and won't wait.
Join-in-Jaisalmer guests must reach the camp by 12 noon on Sat 31 Oct.
Tents are allotted by the Vibehub team. Same-gender sharing by default. No swapping without the captain's OK.
No illegal substances. Drunk or rowdy behaviour isn't allowed on the bus, at the camp or during sightseeing.
Respect is non-negotiable. No harassment, unwanted advances or rude behaviour towards anyone, including camp staff and locals. Anyone breaking this is removed from the trip with no refund.
Ask before you click. Don't take or post photos of fellow travellers without their consent.
Stick with the group. Tell a trip captain before stepping away, especially at the dunes and at night.
Follow the captains' instructions on timings, safety and activities.
Look after your own stuff. Vibehub isn't responsible for lost or damaged belongings.
Safaris and adventure add-ons are at your own risk. Tell us about any health condition beforehand.
Respect the place. No littering on the dunes. Follow dress and photo rules inside temples and the fort.
Any damage to the bus, tents or camp property is paid for by whoever caused it.
Pure-veg meals at the camp. Outside food on the bus is fine. Keep it clean.
Booking means you accept these rules and the cancellation policy.
